"A Broker Who Actually Makes The Process Fun"

Experience has taught me that finding a good real-estate broker is about as much fun as having a tooth pulled but at least with the latter, once the tooth is out the pain goes away. Not so with the broker because now you have to live with this stranger through a very personal, often emotional, process culminating only once you have committed hundreds of thousands or more of your dollars.

Imagine my surprise when online and then in person we find a broker who actually makes the process fun through personality and careful preparation so that efficient and thoughtful review of the available properties can occur in a minimum of time with a maximum of focus. And layer on top of that someone who gives you the pro's and con's of each property so you can make your own decision about what works for you without the usual overbearing pressure to buy.

All of this describes Erik Asarian &Clair Osborne who in two days provided us with sufficient knowledge and guided us to the necessary support folks (house inspector, mortgage broker, title company,etc), to close a purchase within three weeks from the time we first started looking. You don't have to believe any of this since I'm not sure I would, but at least I know we had a great experience with Erik and wound up with a great property.

Residing in Fairfax, VA, back in 2010, we decided it was time for us to move west, to the Rocky Mountains, for the beauty of nature, the hiking, the skiing.  Greg Harrigan, at Keller Williams in Park City, was instrumental in making us realize that Park City, and the home he found for us, was the perfect destination for us.  Our first contact with Greg was via internet and phone, at which time we explained our intention to move over the next year or two, no firm plans, no chosen destination, making our move only once we found our perfect location and home out west.  From there, Greg quickly understood what we were looking for, our tastes, our preferences, where we best might fit in.  For the next two years Greg patiently worked with us, sending us a continuous stream of listings of many attractive homes, and viewing maybe over forty of them on our occasional visits as we explored the area during the winters and summers.  And on one of those visits we “stumbled” over our dream house.  Within just a few hours Greg marshalled his business connections to secure a loan pre-qualification, and put an offer together that secured the purchase of our home!  On top of that, Greg then was extremely helpful in recommending a painting contractor, and overseeing their work in our new Park City home, while we were back east preparing our move.

 

Fast forward to the present, when our family and plans took us back east again, and with the real estate market softening, Greg again came through for us with the sale of our beloved Park City home.  His recommendations for the preparation of our home, his agency’s imaging tools, their multiple listing and marketing approaches, his pricing and negotiating strategies, within days brought multiple offers from very enthusiastic buyers, resulting in a very satisfactory sale of our home.
