The pace of sales of lots and homes in Promontory has soared. Just a couple years ago the community was replete with half finished homes in foreclosure, and now it has a new clubhouse, The Shed, with more ameneties planned including a new pool, a dog park, and a million dollars being spent on trees and landscaping throughout the neighborhood.
Over 800 lots of the 1925 lots available in the 11 square miles of Promontory have been sold, and lot prices have risen above $300,000 again and homes over $3 million once again, prompting the developer to step back into the market with 20 very special lots that offer sponsored memberships, as well as some 'Dye cabin lots' upon which smaller homes are offered in several models ranging from under a million to about $1.3 million.
Memberships have been retooled, with two memberships available with properties and families having multigenerational membership rights, allowing grandparents and children of owners full membership rights. Memberships can be activated up to two years after purchasing lots, giving buyers flexibility. The nuances of memberships are too detailed to explain here, but we would be happy to provide more information at your request.
Over 60 families now call Promontory their home full time, and there are about 350 homes that have been built with another 20 under construction and 20 more in the design/review stages. This will include a handful of spec homes, though most are custom homes.
If your family has been looking for a legacy property to enjoy, Promontory could be the place for you and the timing is very good. Contact us for more information or to share what it is you are looking for, we would be honored to help you.
